Do you like Corvettes? Well did you know that the National Corvette Museum is only a 1 hour drive from Nashville? That’s right. Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the Museum houses over 80 Corvette models and concept vehicles from the entire Corvette vehicle history. The museum includes photos, movies and videos, advertisements, scale models and rare memorabilia related to the Vette. And within the 115,000 square foot facility, you’ll find various vehicle displays, a cafe, a Corvette Store, webcams, and annual special events. You’ll also find reminders of a 2014 sinkhole cave-in which caused significant damage to 8 rare and one-of-a-kind Corvettes that were located in the showroom itself. The museum also includes a motorsports park about 2 miles away where you can take Tour Laps or Hot Laps (professional driver speed laps) around the course.

The museum is only a quarter mile from the General Motors Corvette Assembly plant which you can get a guided tour through as well. The tours are typically 1 hour in length and cover a distance of 1 mile; cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

The National Corvette Museum is open 8:00am-5:00pm daily; cost of entry is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for youth.
